Privacy Policy

Overview

Card Mom ("the App") is designed with your privacy in mind. This policy explains what information the App accesses and how it is used.

Data Collection

The App does not collect or share personal data with the developer or any third parties.

Your assessment data and photos stay on your device. The only network requests the App makes are the ones described in the Third-Party Services, Marketplace Price Lookup, and Purchases sections below.

Information Stored Locally

The App stores the following information locally on your device:

1. Disclaimer Acceptance: When you accept the terms of use, the date of acceptance is saved to remember your choice.

2. Photos (Temporary): When using the photo markup feature, images from your camera or photo library are processed entirely on your device. These images are not stored permanently unless you explicitly save them.

Camera and Photo Library Access

The App may request access to your camera and photo library to enable the photo markup feature. This access is used solely to:

• Capture photos of trading cards for condition assessment
• Select existing photos from your library

Your photos are processed on-device only and are never uploaded or transmitted externally.

No Analytics or Tracking

The App does not use any analytics services, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies. Your usage of the App is completely private.

No Account Required

The App does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use its features.

Purchases

Card Mom offers a single optional one-time purchase, Card Mom Premium. The purchase is processed entirely by Apple or by Google. Card Mom never receives, sees, or stores your name, payment card, billing address, or store account details, and no payment information is transmitted to the developer. When a purchase or a restore completes, the App saves a single yes or no flag on your device so it knows Premium is unlocked. That flag never leaves your device. If you reset app data, the flag is cleared and the App asks the store to restore your purchase the next time you use a Premium feature. Apple's and Google's own privacy policies apply to the payment itself.

Data Deletion

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by:

• Uninstalling the App (removes all App data)
• Clearing the App's data through your device settings
• Using the "Reset Data" option on the in-app Privacy Policy screen

Third-Party Services

The App uses Google Fonts to download the Fredoka font. The font file is fetched from Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com) the first time it is needed, then cached on your device for later use. Google's privacy policy applies to this connection. No personal data is transmitted.

The App may also contain links to external websites, which open in your device's browser. These external sites have their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites.

Marketplace Price Lookup

If you enable the optional marketplace feature, the App requests card catalog and price data from tcgcsv.com, a third party service, and loads product images from its content servers. These requests include your search text and selected game, set, or product identifiers, along with your device's IP address, which is inherent to any internet request. Responses are cached on your device. No account, no personal information, and no photos are ever sent. This feature is off by default and can be turned on or off at any time in Settings. tcgcsv.com has its own privacy practices, which the developer does not control.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. No account or personal information is required to use the App, and the network requests described in the Third-Party Services, Marketplace Price Lookup, and Purchases sections do not involve personal information. The App is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
